The Canton Châtenois-les-Forges is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement Belfort in the department Territoire de Belfort in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . Its main town is Châtenois-les-Forges . Florian Bouquet and Maryline Morallet (both LR ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Department since 2015 . The canton of Châtenois-les-Forges was not formed until 1967 when the former canton of Belfort was split up.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Châtenois-les-Forges included the ten municipalities Argiésans , Banvillars , Bavilliers , Bermont , Botans , Buc , Châtenois-les-Forges , Dorans , Trévenans and Urcerey . Its layout corresponded to an area of 41 km km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 9010.
