Meroux-Moval is a French commune with 1,307 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department de Belfort Territoire in the Region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It belongs to the canton of Châtenois-les-Forges and the Arrondissement of Belfort .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Meroux and Moval , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Meroux .

history
Between 1972 and 1997, the neighboring Moval already belonged to Meroux through a municipal merger. Then there was a separation into independent communities again.
