The canton of Montpellier-10 was until 2015 a French canton in the arrondissement of Montpellier , in the department of Hérault and in the region of Languedoc-Roussillon ; its main town was Montpellier , the last representative in the General Council of the Département was Monique Pétard ( PS ) from 1998 to 2015 (re-elected in 2004 and 2011 ).
