Juvignac ( Occitan : Juvinhac ) is a French commune with 11,084 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Montpellier and the canton of Lattes . The inhabitants are called Juvignacois .

geography

The Mosson River limits the community to the east. Juvignac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Grabels in the north, Montpellier in the east, Lavérune in the south and Saint-Georges-d'Orques in the west. In the commune, the A750 autoroute merges with the national route 109 to Montpellier.

Juvignac is part of the Vin de pays des Collines de la Moure wine-growing region .
