The canton of Lattes is a French canton in the Hérault department and in the Montpellier arrondissement . It has 49,878 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). Cyril Meunier ( DVG ) and Patricia Weber ( PS ) have been representatives in the General Council of the Department since 2014 .
Before the reorganization of the cantons in 2014, the canton consisted of the three municipalities of Lattes , Palavas-les-Flots (now the canton of Mauguio ) and Pérols .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the three municipalities of Lattes , Palavas-les-Flots and Pérols belonged to the canton of Agde . Its layout corresponded to an area of 36.22 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 3448.
