Saint-Just is a French commune with 3,255 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Montpellier and the canton of Lunel . The inhabitants are called Saint-Justois .

geography

Saint-Just is about ten kilometers east-northeast of Montpellier . In the southeast the town limits Canal de Lunel , the city Lunel with the ship channel Canal du Rhône à Sète connects. Saint-Just is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lunel in the north and east, Marsillargues in the southeast, Saint-Nazaire-de-Pézan in the south, Lansargues in the west and Lunel-Viel in the northwest.
