Galargues is a French commune with 725 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Montpellier and the canton of Lunel (until 2015: canton of Castries ). The inhabitants are called Galargois .

Galargues is about 21 kilometers north-northeast of Montpellier . Galargues is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Carnas in the north and north-west, Garrigues and Campagne in the north, Sommières in the east, Saussines in the south-east, Saint-Hilaire-de-Beauvoir in the south, Buzignargues in the west and south-west and Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel in the West.
