Karl Ernst Horbol
Karl Ernst Horbol (* 1953 in Grevesmühlen ) is a German actor , cabaret artist , radio play speaker , stunt performer , writer and publisher .
Life
Karl Ernst Horbol completed his acting studies from 1975 to 1979 at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig and at the drama studio of the Dresden State Theater , where he was already on stage several times during his studies. He had his first permanent theater engagements as a graduate actor in Zwickau and Neustrelitz , and as a cabaret artist at the Distel cabaret theater in Berlin . At the same time he began working in front of the camera for film and television in the GDR . Until the fall of the Berlin Wall he wrote texts for the radio of the GDR , the television of the GDR and the television magazine FF .
After the fall of the Wall, Karl Ernst Horbol received a few smaller film appearances, mostly in episodes of television series. Also in the theater he was not seen as often until he took over the role of Hans in the play Veronika, der Lenz ist da - Die Comedian Harmonists from Gottfried Greiffenhagen in the Berlin Comedy on Kurfürstendamm . With this successful piece he went on tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg from 1999 until his departure in 2011. From 1996 to 2004 he worked as a speaker and presenter for the television station in Berlin . Since 2001 he has worked as a presenter and actor in various stunt shows at the Babelsberg Film Park , some of which he has also worked out. A few years ago, Karl Ernst Horbol founded the Abentheuer Verlag . In 2004 he published his first self-written novel Alienus Alifer ( ISBN 3-8334-0849-9 ).
In the election for the Berlin House of Representatives in 2011 , he came in 6th place on the state list of the party pro Germany .
