Until December 2006, Kerteminde Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Fyns Amt in the northeast of the island of Funen . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Kerteminde municipality together with the former Langeskov and Munkebo municipalities .

Kerteminde municipality was created as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :

• Kerteminde Sogn (City of Kerteminde)
• Dalby Sogn (rural municipality Dalby)
• Drigstrup Sogn (rural municipality Drigstrup)
• Kølstrup Sogn (rural municipality Kølstrup)
• Mesinge Sogn (rural community Mesinge)
• Revninge Sogn (rural community Revninge)
• Rynkeby Sogn (Rynkeby Rural Municipality)
• Stubberup Sogn (rural municipality of Stubberup)
• Viby Sogn (rural municipality Viby)
