Klenová ( Hungarian Kelen - until 1902 and 1939–1945 Klenova ) is a municipality in eastern Slovakia .

The place was first mentioned in writing in 1548 as Klenau and is located in the middle of the Ublianka river valley .

From 1939 to 1945 the place was annexed by Hungary.
