The Kohlu District is an administrative district in Pakistan in the Balochistan Province . The seat of the district administration is the city of Kohlu .
The district has an area of 7610 km² and according to the 2017 census 214,350 inhabitants. The population density is 28 inhabitants / km².

The district is located on the north of the Balochistan Province, which is in the west of Pakistan.

Demographics
Between 1998 and 2017, the population grew by 4.09% annually. About 8% of the population live in urban areas and about 92% in rural areas. 112,142 men and 102,208 women live in 26,827 households, resulting in a gender ratio of 104.3 men per 100 women and thus a frequent surplus of men for Pakistan.
The literacy rate in 2014/15 among the population aged 10 and over was 32% (women: 12%, men: 50%).
