Konstantin Kerschbaumer (born July 1, 1992 in Tulln on the Danube ) is an Austrian football player who is under contract with 1. FC Heidenheim .
Career
Kerschbaumer began his career at FC Tulln . In 2006 he came to AKA St. Pölten and in 2009 he moved to the SK Rapid Vienna Academy . In May 2010 he made his debut in the game against the Viennese sports club for the amateur team in the Regionalliga , when he was brought into play at half-time for Muhammed Ildiz .
For the 2011/12 season he was awarded to the second division club First Vienna FC . He made his debut in the second division on the second day of that season against FC Lustenau 07 . In the summer of 2012, he was awarded to the SKN St. Pölten and firmly committed after the season. With the second division team he reached the cup final in the 2013/14 season , in which, however, they were inferior to FC Red Bull Salzburg . He made his international debut in July 2014 in the second round of the Europa League qualification against Botev Plovdiv .
On January 7th, 2015 he moved to Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling and made his debut in the top Austrian division on matchday 20 of the 2014/15 season against SCR Altach . For the season 2015/16 he went to England for second division FC Brentford and became the season 2017/18 by Germany to the second division Arminia Bielefeld awarded.
For the 2018/19 season Kerschbaumer joined the league competitor FC Ingolstadt 04 , with whom he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2021. For FC Ingolstadt he played 29 games in the 2nd Bundesliga, but had to relegate to the 3rd division at the end of the season after losing a relegation against Wehen Wiesbaden . In this Kerschbaumer played no role and was only once in the matchday squad without a mission.
He then moved to the second division club 1. FC Heidenheim in September 2019 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
