Norman Theuerkauf (born January 24, 1987 in Nordhausen ) is a German football player who is under contract with 1. FC Heidenheim .

Career

Theuerkauf took his first steps in the adult area with Werder Bremen's second team . There he made a total of 52 appearances and two goals in the Regionalliga Nord during his time as an active footballer, until he finally switched to the amateurs of Eintracht Frankfurt in early 2008 and stayed there until summer 2009. In Frankfurt he played eleven games with three goals in the Hessen Football League since March 1, 2008. After promotion to Regionalliga Süd , he was first used on August 8, 2008 in the regional league team of Eintracht Frankfurt's second team, where he was used in 32 games and scored seven goals.

In 2009 he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig in the third division and was a regular player in the second division promotion in 2011. In the 3rd division he was first as a left back, later in defensive midfield in two seasons in 57 games on the field. After promotion to the second division, he completed 59 games in two seasons and was on the field 31 times from the start in the promotion season. In the following season he was promoted to the Bundesliga , in which he made his debut on August 10, 2013 (1st matchday) in the 0-1 defeat in the home game against Werder Bremen. At the end of the 2014/15 season Theuerkauf left Braunschweig and moved to 1. FC Heidenheim .

At the beginning of 2006, Theuerkauf took part in an international tournament in Qatar with the German U-19 selection , where he made five appearances in defense alongside David Pisot , Fabian Johnson and Sören Bertram .
