Series A 1961/62

The Serie A 1962/63 was the 31st season in the top Italian football -Spielklasse of Lords. It began on September 16, 1962 and ended on May 26, 1963. CFC Genoa , AC Napoli and FC Modena from Serie B were promoted.

Inter Milan ended the season as champions and became AC Milan’s successor . Inter and Milan qualified for the European Champions Cup as winners of the 1962/63 European Champions Cup . Juventus Turin and AS Roma qualified for the Exhibition Cities Cup . Atalanta Bergamo secured participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup of the following year through Coppa Italia . In the series B needed to Naples who descend AC Venice and FC Palermo .
