Lara Catherina Stone (born December 20, 1983 in Geldrop , North Brabant ) is a Dutch model and actress .

Life

Her father is British and her mother is Dutch . She grew up in Geldrop-Mierlo in the Netherlands and moved to Paris when she was 16 , where she began her modeling career. On May 16, 2010, she married David Walliams . Their first child, a son, was born on May 5, 2013.

Career

After working as a model since 1999, her breakthrough came in 2006 with a modeling contract with IMG Models . She ran fashion shows for Louis Vuitton , Chanel , Lanvin , Miu Miu , Fendi , Max Mara , Pollini, Prada , Anna Sui , Marc Jacobs , Michael Kors , Stella McCartney , Zac Posen , Balmain , Celine, Hermès , Isabel Marant , Jean Paul Gaultier , Dolce & Gabbana , Givenchy , Karl Lagerfeld , Missoni , Emanuel Ungaro , Victoria's Secret and others.

In addition, she has been recognized for campaigns by Calvin Klein Make-Up, Calvin Klein Jeans, H&M , Jean Paul Gaultier , Time , DKNY Jeans, Nicole Farhi , Belstaff , CK Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss Orange, De 'Type, Revlon , TSUM, Just Cavalli, Max Mara , Malizia by La Perla, Sisley , Jil Sander and Givenchy booked.

She was also on the cover of Japanese Vogue in March 2005, French Elle in May 2006, French Vogue in April 2006, Danish Elle in August 2006, Italian Vogue in December 2007, French Vogue in March 2008 and also in February 2009, pictured. In 2010 she was featured in French Playboy , but sued the magazine because the pictures had been published without her permission.
