Laurel Hill is a city in Okaloosa County in the US state of Florida with 537 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Laurel Hill is about 25 km northeast of Crestview and about 100 km northeast of Pensacola .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 537 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 261 households. The population density was 66.3 inh / km². 82.1% of the population identified themselves as white , 16.0% as African-American and 0.7% as Asian Americans . 0.2% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 0.9% to several ethnic groups. 0.6% of the population was made up of Hispanics or Latinos .

In 2010 children under the age of 18 lived in 31.8% of all households and persons aged 65 and over lived in 26.9% of all households. 63.7% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.41 people and the average family size was 3.07 people.
