The Saints de Laval were a Canadian ice hockey team from Laval , Québec . The team played in the 1969/70 season in one of Canada's top three junior ice hockey leagues, the Québec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

history

The Saints de Laval were founded in 1967 and initially played for one year each in the Québec Junior Hockey League and the Metropolitan Montreal Junior Hockey League before they were accepted into the Québec Major Junior Hockey League as one of eleven founding members for the 1969/70 season . They finished the first season of the QMJHL in fifth and thus last place in the West Division and thus missed the playoffs. In 56 games of the regular season, the Canadians only get 18 wins. After only one year in the QMJHL and a total of three years, the franchise was dissolved in 1970.
