Leśnica (German Fichtberg ) is a place in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to the Gmina Darłowo ( Rügenwalde ) in the Powiat Sławieński ( Schlawe ).
Geographical location
Leśnica is located 12 kilometers southwest of Darłowo and can be reached via a cul-de-sac that branches off from Voivodeship Road 203 in Bukowo Morskie ( Buckow Lake ) . The railway station is Wiekowo ( Alt Wieck ) on the Stargard Szczeciński – Gdańsk railway line .
history
The place Fichtberg has always been associated with Lake Buckow in its history, as well as the place Wilhelmsheide (Polish: Bezmieście). Only a few people lived here in around 15 households. The inhabitants were and are mainly active in agriculture and forestry.
Until 1945 Fichtberg belonged to the municipality of See Buckow in the district of Schlawe i. Pom. in the administrative district of Köslin in the Prussian province of Pomerania .
Today Leśnica is part of the Gmina Darłowo in the powiat Sławieński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

The mostly Protestant residents of Fichtberg belonged to the church in See Buckow until 1945 , which is still the parish church for the mostly Catholic residents of Leśnica.
