The Yorckbrücken on the border between the Tempelhof-Schöneberg and Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg districts are an ensemble of formerly 45 bridges over an approximately 500-meter-long section of Yorckstrasse . Just under ten of the bridges are still used for railway purposes. Since the 2010s, the remaining bridges have been refurbished in accordance with listed buildings. In July 2012, colored light strips for the bridge complex were successfully tested. The first of the renewed iron bridges was on the weekend of 18./19. Reinstated August 2012.
The Zimmermannstrasse Bridge, built in 1936, leads Zimmermannstrasse at its eastern end over the Wuhle and connects it with Lindenstrasse in Kaulsdorf. It was replaced by a new building in 2016.
The citadel bridge , a beam bridge made of reinforced concrete , leads from the street Am Juliusturm over the western ditch to the citadel island of the Havel and connects with the entrance to the gatehouse of the citadel Spandau .
The Zossener Bridge, named after the city of Zossen , leads across the Landwehr Canal on the Waterloo bank and connects Zossener Strasse with Lindenstrasse at the Patent Office . The bridge from 1911/12 was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt in 1950. The current girder bridge dates from 1970/71.
This is a no longer existing double bridge construction over the Luisenstadt Canal, which was later filled in . In the middle, the Schilling Bridge went off over the Spree. In the photograph, the twin bridge can be seen cut in the foreground.
