Dreilinden (2) .JPG ( Autobahn bridge), Teltow Canal, old bridge Zehlendorf The nameless former motorway bridge , sometimes not officially called the motorway bridge at the old checkpoint , between Albrechts Teerofen and Dreilinden , crosses the Teltow Canal at kilometer 5.45 . The highway feeder of the Reichsautobahn 51 from the AVUS to the Berliner Ring was inaugurated in 1940, as was the bridge. The motorway is now referred to as the A 115 . It used to lead shortly behind the Zehlendorfer Kleeblatt through the Dreilinden forest and the Parforceheide . During the GDR era, the autobahn handled most of the transit traffic as a connection to the A 2 from and to Helmstedt . When the new Dreilinden border control point was completed in 1969, the A 115 was given a new route. The building is a listed building as a document of the division of Germany and is used as a footpath and cycle path. On the Berlin side, however, there are concerns about its use, as the bridge has long been de-dedicated as a traffic route. You enter at your own risk. The state border between Berlin and Brandenburg is exactly in the middle of the bridge. cards
