The list of cultural assets in Bern / Mattenhof-Weissenbühl contains all objects in district III, Mattenhof-Weissenbühl of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of 20 June 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Case of Armed People Conflicts and the ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found that are "worthy of protection" listed in Bauinventar the city of Bern as well.

North wing seven storeys, south wing six storeys. Is considered to be one of the most exemplary and high-quality buildings of post-war modernism .

Hospital building built in 1929/30 by Otto Brechbühl and Otto Salvisberg in the modern style in the middle of a garden. On the north-facing, three-storey and strictly rectangular structure under a slightly inclined hipped roof, on the south-facing horizontal stratification through facade-length cantilevered balcony slabs with massive parapets.

Castle built around 1470 by order of Niklaus II von Diesbach , rebuilt in 1765 in the late Baroque style. The west-facing residential wing with a stair tower dates from the middle of the 16th century. Completed around 1800 by two garden pavilions by Johann Daniel Osterrieth . Peristyle from the second half of the 19th century attached to the south . Extensive park with enclosure walls and old trees.

The headquarters of the Swiss Accident Insurance Company, built by Otto Salvisberg and Otto Brechbühl between 1930 and 1932 . Five-storey reinforced concrete construction with a recessed attic storey and an inwardly sloping flat roof. The street front is rounded and is flanked by two stairwells on the side. Considered the most striking modern commercial building in Bern.
