The list of cultural assets in Bern / Kirchenfeld-Schosshalde contains all objects in district IV, Kirchenfeld-Schosshalde of Bern , that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Case of Armed People Conflicts and the ordinance of October 29, 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found that are "worthy of protection" listed in Bauinventar the city of Bern as well.

The elliptical, large trenches on the north side, divided into two by a partition wall, are dominated by the neo-Gothic building, a real “little bear castle” with a decorative house façade .

The administration building is strongly emphasized with its front consisting of seven axes and a strong central projection. Mentioned in the 13th century and rebuilt around 1580, it got its present appearance through baroque renovations in the first half of the 18th century. Two originally free-standing structures (the pleasure house to the northeast and the residential building to the southwest), connected at the end of the 17th century by a wooden arbor and an intermediate wing. The complex also includes a well, garden portals and an oven house.

Monument built in 1911 by Henry Berthold von Fischer in honor of the Bernese baroque architect Niklaus Sprüngli ; representative conclusion of the axis Helvetiaplatz – Thunplatz. This involves a reconstruction of the facade of the library gallery in Hotelgasse, which Sprüngli built in 1772–1775 and demolished in 1909. Supplemented by flanking balustrades, obelisks and parapet walls by fishermen.

In its current form, the Untertorbrücke crossing the Aare dates back to 1462, when it had to be rebuilt after a flood. In the middle of the 18th century, the entire fortress-like superstructure was torn down and the bridge was provided with a simple parapet. The rock castle is a gate tower built around 1260 as part of the city fortifications and forms the eastern bridgehead. It has been rebuilt several times and has served as a residential building since 1863/64. Until 1625 the roadway ran through the tower; since then it has been led past it.

In 1598/99 the foremen Hans and Peter zur Matten built the house of the infirmary, also called "Siechenschlössli". The oldest preserved late-Gothic stair tower house outside the city is a three-story plastered building with interlocked corner cuboids under a steep, unshaped quarter-hipped roof .

Artificial ice rink and outdoor swimming pool , built in 1933 according to plans by the architects Rudolf von Sinner and Hans Beyeler. First modern combined sports facility and at the same time one of the most convincing representatives of New Building in Bern. Two-storey main building on a high basement, with a stair tower and roughly plastered facades. On the south side is the terrace building of the restaurant, on the east side the glass building of the grandstand covered with a pent roof.

Arched bridge built between 1883 and 1885 by engineers Moritz Probst and Jules Röthlisberger , which crosses the Aare at a height of 34 m and is one of the main works of iron construction in Switzerland. The two arches are each 81 m wide, the total length is 230 m. Vibrations due to increasing traffic made it necessary to replace the main iron pillars with stone ones in 1913.

In the years 1841 to 1844 under the direction of engineer Joseph Ferry built stone arch bridge over the Aare . The segment arch made of stone was the most widely spanned stone arch in Europe. Supported on both sides by massive abutments with smaller, semicircular land arches, adjoining dams to the higher Gerechtigkeitsgasse .
