Pedunculate oak approx. 2 km east of the outskirts of Heiligenrode. Both oaks, which are about 50 m apart, are located in the forest of the former Windhausen Landscape Park . You are at the “Affendenkmal”, at the former “Affenteich”, which is now just a dry depression. The northern tree is about 15 m from the edge of the forest. Its impressive trunk is divided into two comparatively strong branches at a height of around 5 m, the crown of which towers over the neighboring trees. Pedunculate oak approx. 2 km east of the outskirts of Heiligenrode. Both oaks, which are about 50 m apart, are located in the forest of the former Windhausen Landscape Park . You are at the “Affendenkmal”, at the former “Affenteich”, which is now just a dry depression. The southern tree is right on the edge of the forest. It currently (2017) appears to have been impaired by sawing numerous branches. Pedunculate oaks approx. 2.5 km east of the outskirts of Heiligenrode. The location is a field south of the former Windhausen Landscape Park , near the “mausoleum”. Of the two trees, only the western one is completely preserved. The eastern oak consists of only a 3 m high trunk remnant. Winter linden tree approx. 1.5 km northeast of the outskirts of Sandershausen. The tree is not far from Hannoversche Strasse, in the garden of the "Zollforsthaus". It is not open to the public.
