The tree is on Sportplatzweg, directly west of the Diemel. As the "Peace Oak 1870/71" it commemorates the Franco-German War from 1870 to 1871 . A neighboring restaurant is called "An der Friedenseiche". The sports ground path is part of several cycle paths and hiking routes, which therefore lead directly past the oak. more pictures	Rosenberg	Niedermeiser 51 ° 28 ′ 12.6 ″  N , 9 ° 19 ′ 32.9 ″  E	Abandoned large basalt quarry with a mighty rock face, northeast of Niedermeiser. The natural monument is located in the forest, directly southwest of the summit of the Rosenberg , north of the L 3212. In front of the steep rock face is a scree slope overgrown with trees at the foot. The area of ​​the site is flat and open. The regional hiking trail N4 runs south of the natural monument and the summit of the "Rosenberg". From there a path leads to the northeast, directly to the impressive rock face. In the middle of the path between the hiking trail and the natural monument, a small path branches off to the north, which bypasses the former quarry and leads to a viewpoint above the cliff.
