Lydia Wideman-Lehtonen , born in Wideman (born May 17, 1920 in Vilppula ; † April 13, 2019 ) was a Finnish cross-country skier .
Wideman, who started for the Tampereen Hiihtoseura, finished in March 1950 behind Kerttu Pehkonen and in March 1951 behind her twin sister Tyyne in second place at the Lahti Ski Games over 10 km. At the Olympic Winter Games in Oslo in 1952 , she became the first female Olympic champion over 10 km. In the same year she won the Lahti Ski Games over 10 km. At Finnish championships she won the gold medal in 1952 and the silver medal over 10 km each in 1951. She also triumphed in 1949 at the 10 km run in Puijo and in 1951 and 1952 at the 10 km run in Ounasvaara .
