Maestro Harrell (born July 29, 1991 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American actor , DJ and dancer .

life and career

Maestro Harrell was born in Chicago , Illinois , in July 1991 . He had his first guest role as Marcus in the series Meego - An Alien as a Nanny . He gained international fame in 2001 through his role as Cassius Clay in the film Ali . In 2005 he was a singer at the opening ceremony of Disneyland in Hong Kong . In the ABC - Comedy Series Suburgatory he played as Malik with in 30 episodes from 2011 to 2014.

In November 2014 his debut single Drop It was released together with the Canadian DJ and ex-actor Antoine Becks. The song belongs to the big room genre and was released on the German record label " Kontor Records ". In spring 2015, Harrell recorded the song For You in collaboration with the Canadian DJ duo Dzeko & Torres . The American singer-songwriter duo Delora contributed vocals. The progressive house track was released on March 22nd, 2014 on the successful Dutch label " Spinnin 'Records ".

At the same time, the official music video of the song appeared in which all five musicians can be seen both in an amusement park and at a live performance. Another Kontor publication appeared just a week later. It was the song Higher , which was recorded again together with Antoine Becks and singer Sherry St.Germain. Also in March 2015, Harrell released a remix of A & G's Run With Me song with Northmark and Gabrielle Ross.

Maestro Harrell has been under contract with W & W's record label " Mainstage Music " since autumn 2015 . There he mainly represents the field of big room music. He made his debut with the single Olympus . The subsequent collaboration Poseidon with Maurice West in the following year attracted a lot of attention. In August 2016 he published the song Zantar together with the jungle terror producer NoTech , which is a crossover of the two genres.

He started 2017 with the single Pandemik , which after a short time advanced to the top 10 of the Beatport genre charts. The title is based on the classic big room style, with elements of dirty Dutch and trap music .

In February 2017 he released the song I Don't Care under the pseudonym MAESTRO , which appeared much quieter than his previous singles and embodied a mixture of future bass and trap. Luv Me followed in April 2017 , which was created in collaboration with Alyxx Dione. This is also based on a trendy basis.
