Majbølle Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Musse Herred in the then Maribo office , then to the Sakskøbing municipality in the Storstrøms office , which was merged into the Guldborgsund municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

979 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church “Majbølle Kirke”.

Neighboring communities are Toreby Sogn in the south, Radsted Sogn , Sakskøbing Sogn and Tårs Sogn in the west and Vigsnæs Sogn in the north-west . In the town of Guldborg , which lies on both sides of the Guldborgsund , the parish is connected to the Brarup Sogn on the island of Falster via the Guldborgsundbroen . The parish is connected to Ønslev Sogn on Falster via the Guldborgsund tunnel ( German : Guldborgsund tunnel - E 47 , Vogelfluglinie ) .

The Langdysser from Soesmarke 1 + 2 and the Langdysser from Nykrog 1 + 2 are located northwest of Majbølle.
