The richly decorated church of Toreby, built around 1200, is one of the largest churches in the area. It was built from brick on field stone foundations. The nave and part of the altar as well as traces of the old apse are still preserved from this Romanesque building . The tower was built in the late Gothic period. The partially preserved or restored frescoes date from the 14th century and show the Archangel Michael fighting the dragon, the judgment of Solomon and the sacrifice of Isaac as well as Moses and the burning bush.
The parish also houses the modern Sundkirche from 1993 and the Fuglsang Art Museum, which opened in Toreby in 2008, with a focus on Danish painting from the period from 1850 to 1950, and the Fuglsang manor house built in 1869.
The dolmen in Frostrup Skov is located on the southern edge of the Frostrup forest, in the extreme south of Toreby.
