Sønder Kirkeby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Falsters Sønder Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Stubbekøbing Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

255 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Sønder Kirkeby Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the north Nørre Ørslev Sogn and Horreby Sogn , in the east Karleby Sogn and Sønder Alslev Sogn and in the south Idestrup Sogn .
