Gedesby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Falsters Sønder Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Sydfalster Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 . On October 1st, 2010 the former church district Gedser Kirkedistrikt became an independent Sogn Gedser Sogn with the abolition of the Danish church districts .
