Stubbekøbing Kirke

Stubbekøbing Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Falsters Nørre Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Stubbekøbing Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 2223 inhabitants of Stubbekøbing, 2124 live in the parish of the same name (as of January 1, 2020).

In the parish is the church "Stubbekøbing Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Lillebrænde Sogn in the west, Maglebrænde Sogn in the south and Aastrup Sogn in the south-east .
