Vantore Kirke

Vantore Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Musse Herred in the then Maribo office , then to the Nysted municipality in the Storstrøms office , which was merged into the Guldborgsund municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

251 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Vantore Kirke" is located in the parish.

The parish is divided into a western and an eastern part by Nysted Sogn in its center . Other neighboring communities are Herritslev Sogn in the west, Bregninge Sogn in the northwest and Kettinge Sogn in the north .

The Langdysse in Roden Skov is near Vantore.
