Karleby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Falsters Sønder Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Stubbekøbing Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

The parish has 266 inhabitants, fewer than 200 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Karleby Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Sønder Alslev Sogn in the south, Sønder Kirkeby Sogn in the south- west, Horreby Sogn in the north- west and Horbelev Sogn in the north .
