Væggerløse Kirke

Væggerløse Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Falsters Sønder Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Sydfalster Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

3295 inhabitants live in the parish, 213 of them in Hasselø Plantage , 725 in Marielyst , 330 in Nykøbing Strandhuse and 1341 in the parish village of Væggerløse (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Væggerløse Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Nykøbing Falster Sogn and Idestrup Sogn in the north, Gedesby Sogn in the south and Skelby Sogn in the south-west .
