Våbensted Kirke

Våbensted Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Lolland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to the Harde Musse Herred in the then Maribo office , then to the Sakskøbing municipality in the Storstrøms office , which was merged into the Guldborgsund municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

636 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Våbensted Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Sakskøbing Sogn in the northeast and Slemminge Sogn and Engestofte Sogn in the south , and Hunseby Sogn in the neighboring Lolland municipality to the west .
