Gundslev Kirke

Gundslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Falster in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Falsters Nørre Herred in what was then Maribo Amt , then to Nørre Alslev Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Guldborgsund Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

532 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Gundslev Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Nørre Alslev Sogn in the west, Nørre Kirkeby Sogn in the south-west, Torkilstrup Sogn in the south and Lillebrænde Sogn in the south-east . The municipality is connected to the island of Farø in Bogø Sogn in Vordingborg Municipality via the southern Farøbroen ( German: Farøbrücke ) .
