The best player of the season with 8 points from 9 games was Friso Nijboer (Hilversums SG), one point less was scored by Ivan Sokolov (Panfox / De Variant Breda), Rudy Douven (Hilversums SG) and Frank Erwich (Leidsch SG). Sokolov played 8 games, Douven and Erwich 9 each. With Paul van der Sterren , Yona Kosashvili (both Hilversums SG), Jan Timman , Rafael Vaganian , Joël Lautier , Ruud Janssen , Joost Hoogendoorn (all Panfox / De Variant Breda), Viktor Kortschnoi and Zbyněk Hráček (both from Rotterdam) achieved nine players 100%, of which van der Sterren was used three times, the others twice each.
The oldest player of the season was Hans Bouwmeester (* 1929), who played for Utrecht, and the youngest player was his team-mate Daniël Stellwagen (* 1987).
