Marc Moro (born July 17, 1977 in Etobicoke , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played in his career from 1998 to 2002 for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim , Nashville Predators and Toronto Maple Leafs in the National Hockey League .
Career
Marc Moro began his career as a hockey player in the 1993/94 season with the Kingston Frontenacs , where he played 43 games and reached three points. During the NHL Entry Draft in 1995 he was selected in the second round in a total of 27th position by the Ottawa Senators , in which he never ran out. Moro played for the Frontenacs until 1997, where he played a total of 173 games and reached 40 points scorer. The defender also appeared in 26 games for Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on. In early October 1996, the Ottawa Senators transferred him along with Ted Drury in exchange for Jason York and Shaun Van Allen to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim . In the following season, the Ducks took the defender in the squad, where he only completed one NHL game and then for the rest of the season to the farm team , the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks , was ordered. There he played 74 games and achieved seven scorer points.
In October 1998, the Ducks transferred him along with Chris Mason in exchange for Dominic Roussel to the Nashville Predators . During his entire time in Nashville from 1998 to 2002, he hardly came to appearances in the NHL. He was mainly used in the farm team of the Predators, the Milwaukee Admirals. While Moro completed 252 games with the Admirals, he received only 27 appearances in the NHL with the Predators. In early March 2002, the Predators transferred him to the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for DJ Smith and Marty Wilford . Even with the Leafs, he did not manage to assert himself and played almost all games with their farm teams, the St. John's Maple Leafs and later also with the Toronto Marlies . There he was part of the regular squad for years and played almost all of the regular season's games. After the 2006/07 season , Marc Moro ended his active career.
