Marija Kaznačenko (born December 1, 1993 in Visaginas ) is a Lithuanian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Marija Kaznačenko lives in Visaginas. She made her international debut at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2009 in Oberhof , where she was 34th in the sprint and 33rd in the pursuit in the junior cross-country races and did not finish the race in the roller-ski sprint.

This was followed by her first participation in the 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby , where the Lithuanian was 60th in the individual, 35th in the sprint, 48th in the pursuit and 14th in the relay race. Then she was used in the junior races of the European Championships 2010 and was 40th in the individual and 46th in the sprint in Otepää . Later in the year Kaznačenko started in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 in Duszniki-Zdrój and was 34th in the sprint, 35th in the pursuit and sixth with Aliona Sabaliauskienė , Karol Dombrovski and Tomas Kaukėnas mixed relay.

In 2011 she also took part in these three championships. At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě she finished 29th in the individual, 33rd in the sprint and 20 in the pursuit race, at the European Championships in Ridnaun she came in 50th place in the sprint and was lapped in the pursuit race. The 2011 Summer Biathlon World Championships were held in Nové Město, Kaznačenko was 38th in the individual, lapped in the pursuit race and eighth in the mixed relay.

In 2012 she first ran at the European Championships in Osrblie and came in 42nd in the individual and 25th in the sprint. In the pursuit, the Lithuanian was lapped, as several times before, and was taken out of the race. This was followed by the Junior World Championships in 2012 in Kontiolahti , where Kaznačenko was 67th in the individual, 42nd in the sprint, 55th in the pursuit and 16th in the relay race.

In 2009 Kaznačenko contested her first races in the IBU Women 's Cup and was 78 in a sprint in Ridnaun. She won her first points in 2011 when she was 38 in a sprint in Osrblie, first points in the racing series. The first international championship for women was the 2012 World Championships in Ruhpolding . There the Lithuanian was with Diana Rasimovičiūtė , Natalija Kočergina and Aliona Sabaliauskienė as the final runner in the lapped season 23rd and 111th in the sprint and 113th in the individual.

Since 2015 she has participated in FIS competitions as a cross-country skier . She started in the Slavic Cup in Štrbské Pleso for the first time in the Continental Cup in December 2015 . There she achieved seventh place in the sprint and fifth place over 5 km classic. At the U23 World Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she finished 51st place over 10 km classic, 48th place in sprint and 41st place over 10 km freestyle.

In the summer of 2016, she came tenth in the mini tour in Madona at the Rollerski World Cup . Her best placings at the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty were 29th place in the 15 km mass start race and 13th place together with Lukas Jakeliunas in the mixed team sprint.

She had her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in February 2017 in Otepää , which she finished in 62nd place in the sprint. In the following FIS race and at the same time qualifying race for the classic 10 km race at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti , she retired in 17th place over 5 km classic. The following year she ran at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on the 73rd place over 10 km freestyle and was in Ignalina Lithuanian champion over 5 km classic.
