Martin Laue (* 1984 in Bautzen ) is a German actor .

Life

Martin Laue spent his childhood and youth in Upper Lusatia . He grew up in Nechern , went to school in Baruth and, before deciding on the acting profession, first completed vocational training. At the age of 19 he left Upper Lusatia and first moved to Berlin , then to Munich .

From September 2007 to June 2011 he completed his acting studies at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich . In 2009 he received a scholarship from the Deutscher Bühnen-Verein Nürnberg for young German actors. During his training, he began his first theater work. He played at the Münchner Kammerspiele (including 2009; as Erich in Katzelmacher ) and at the Munich Residenztheater , where he a. a. when "Der Drechsler" appeared in Liliom . In 2011 he took on the role of Lysander in the Shakespeare comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream in a production by Katja Ott at Theater Erlangen .

Laue now works mainly for film and television. In the cinema he was seen in a small role in Til Schweiger's comedy Kokowääh 2 (2013). He also played a small role as a nurse, directed by Gore Verbinski, in the international production A Cure for Wellness (2017), in which Laue's scenes were filmed in Berlin and Babelsberg .

He has appeared in several television films and numerous television series. In the ZDF series SOKO Stuttgart (2010) he took on a leading role in the episode as the fanatical leader of a group of animal rights activists. In the eighth season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2012) he played the suspected fiancé of a young woman who was killed in a fire accident. In the television film Tolerance , which was broadcast in November 2014 as part of the ARD theme week “Different from you think”, he played the former friend of the soccer player Karoline Benzko, the main female character in the film. In the Munich Tatort: ​​Once Really Die (first broadcast: December 2015), he had a supporting role as a doctor who looks at a gunshot wound and tells the patient that he will “get through”.

He also had episode roles in the television series Heiter bis tödlich: Akt Ex (2012; as press photographer Florian Brahms), Der Alte (2013; as young father Ralf Schuster), SOKO Vienna (2013; as assistant doctor Dr. Christoph Inninger), Notruf Hafenkante ( 2014; as a suspected rioter and junkie Marc Böll) and cheerful to fatal: Hauptstadtrevier (2014; as a "chubby", previously convicted suspect Mike Boll). In the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig (December 2015) he was seen again in an episode role as the son-in-law of a cruelly murdered rich couple. In the ZDF crime series Die Bossin (September 2017), Laue played an episode role as the supervisor in a youth camp for delinquent young people. In the 21st season of the television series In allerfreund (episode 823; September 2018) Laue had an episode role as elevator technician Christoph Franzke.

Laue lives in Leipzig .
