Maxim Alexejewitsch Kizyn ( Russian Максим Алексеевич Кицын ; born December 24, 1991 in Novokuznetsk , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Saryarka Karaganda since August 2018 .
Career
Maxim Alexejewitsch Kizyn began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Metallurg Novokuznetsk , for whose second team he was active in the Pervaya League , the third Russian division, from 2007 to 2009 . In the 2008/09 season , the winger made his debut for the professional team Metallurgs in the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In his rookie year, scoring five goals in 31 games and gave two assists. After another season in the KHL, the Russian junior national player was selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2010 in the sixth round as a total of 158th player by the Los Angeles Kings .
The 2010/11 season Kizyn began again at Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the KHL, but moved to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the Canadian Junior League Ontario Hockey League on January 6, 2011 , after this him in the summer of 2010 in the CHL Import Draft in the first Round as a total of 17th players.
In summer 2011 he returned to his hometown club and subsequently completed 32 KHL games for them. At the same time he continued to work with the Kuznetskje Medvedi in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkejnaja League and with the partner team Jermak Angarsk in the Wysschaja Hockey League . In August 2012 he moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod within the KHL , but was then mostly used at HK Sarov .
In July 2013, the Russian signed a three-year entry - level contract with the Los Angeles Kings.
International
For Russia , Kizyn took part in the U18 Junior World Championships in 2009 and the U20 Junior World Championships in 2010 and 2011 . He was runner-up with the U18 national team in 2009 and world champion with the U20 national team in 2011.

Maxim's brother Kirill is also a professional ice hockey player. Her father Alexei was also a professional ice hockey player and was a. a. with the Soviet Union U18 European Junior Champion.
