Royal Numismatic Society Medal

The Medal of the Royal Numismatic Society (Medal of the Royal Numismatic Society) is one of the most honorable awards in the field of numismatics .

It has been awarded since 1883 by the Royal Numismatic Society in London, founded in 1836, to "some person highly distinguished for services to Numismatic Science". The medal will be awarded at the company's annual general meeting in December. On this occasion, the respective holder of the medal gives a lecture.

The stamps of the original silver medal were donated to the Society by John Evans . A new medal designed by Ian Rank-Broadley has been awarded since 1993 .
