Michael Blauensteiner (born February 11, 1995 ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

society

Blauensteiner began his career at FK Austria Wien . In 2007 he moved to FC Stadlau . After two years at Stadlau, he returned to Austria in 2009. After playing in Austria earlier in the academy, he made his debut in August 2012 for the amateur team in the Regional as he on the third day of the 2012/13 season against 1. Simmeringer SC in the 89th minute for Sascha Horvath came on .

After more than 100 games for the regional league team, Blauensteiner moved up to the professional squad in January 2017 and extended his contract until June 2020. In March 2017, he made his professional debut in the Bundesliga when he played against Wolfsberger on the 25th matchday of the 2016/17 season AC was brought into play in stoppage time for Jens Stryger Larsen .

For the 2018/19 season he was awarded to the league competitor TSV Hartberg . For the 2019/20 season he was awarded to the Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe in Romania . After only one month at Sepsi, his loan was terminated prematurely in July 2019 and Blauensteiner switched to Sūduva Marijampolė in Lithuania , but this time only with a six-month loan period. After the loan ended, he returned to Austria in January 2020, where he moved back to the squad of the second-class second team.

For the 2020/21 season he moved to SKN St. Pölten , where he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

National team

Blauensteiner played several games for the Austrian U-18 , U-19 and U-20 teams between 2012 and 2015 .
