Robert Ljubičić (born July 14, 1999 ) is an Austrian - Croatian football player .

Career

society

Ljubičić began his career at the favorite AC . In 2006 he joined the youth team at SK Rapid Vienna . In 2009 he moved to the Vienna Sports Club . In 2014 he came to AKA St. Pölten , where he went through all age groups.

In January 2018 he switched to the amateurs of SKN St. Pölten . He made his debut for this in the Regionalliga in March 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against the amateurs of FC Admira Wacker Mödling on matchday 22 of the 2017/18 season and was replaced by Martin Adamec in the 64th minute .

After eleven games for the amateurs, Ljubičić made his debut for the professionals in the Bundesliga in May 2018 when he started against SCR Altach on matchday 34 of that season .

National team

Ljubičić was appointed to the Croatian U-20 squad for the first time in March 2019 . In the same month he made his debut against Switzerland for this.

In August 2020 he was appointed to the squad of the Austrian U-21 team.

Personal

His brother Dejan (* 1997) is also a soccer player.
