Dor Hugi ( Hebrew דור חוגי; Born July 10, 1995 in Bnei Berak ) is an Israeli soccer player .
Career
society
Hugi first played in the youth of Maccabi Haifa . In May 2014 he made his debut for the Haifa professionals in the Ligat ha'Al when he came on as a substitute for Shon Weissman in the 59th minute against Hapoel Be'er Scheva on the tenth round of the championship round of the 2013/14 season . This remains his only commitment to the club. For the 2014/15 season he was awarded to the league competitor Hapoel Petach Tikwa . In October 2014, he scored his first goal in the Israeli top division in a 4-1 win against Hapoel Akko . During the loan he came to 24 appearances for Hapoel Petach Tikwa, in which he scored six goals. With the club, however, he rose from the Ligat ha'Al at the end of the season. For the 2015/16 season he was again awarded to a league competitor from Haifa, this time to Maccabi Petach Tikwa . For Maccabi Petach Tikwa he came to 26 first division appearances, in which he made three goals.
After the loan ended, he did not return to Haifa and switched to league rivals Hapoel Ra'anana for the 2016/17 season . In a season and a half at Ra'anana, he made 36 league appearances and scored three goals. In January 2018 Hugi moved to the second division club Hapoel Tel Aviv . For Tel Aviv he came to 18 appearances in the Liga Leumit , in which he made six goals. At the end of the season he rose with the club as a second division champion in the Ligat ha'Al. After promotion he moved to the second division Hapoel Ramat Gan for the 2018/19 season . For Ramat Gan he came to 35 games in the second division, in which he made eight goals. For the 2019/20 season he returned to league rivals Maccabi Petach Tikwa. For Maccabi Petach Tikwa he completed 34 second division games and scored eleven goals; at the end of the season he rose with the club in the Ligat ha'Al.
For the 2020/21 season, Hugi moved to Austria for Bundesliga club SKN St. Pölten , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
National team
Hugi played for Israeli youth national teams from 2011. Between 2013 and 2014 he played for the U19 team . With this he took part in the EM in 2014 . Hugi was used in all three Israeli games and scored the only goal in Israel. With his country he had to be eliminated without points as the last of Group A in the preliminary round.
Between September 2015 and October 2016 he was used eight times for the U-21 team .
