Michael Gugel

Michael Gugel (born June 25, 1985 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actor , voice actor and singer .

Life

Michael Gugel gained his first experiences on stage and in choirs at school . After graduating from the Martin-Schongauer-Gymnasium Breisach , he first studied communication design at the Free University of Freiburg ; after graduation in 2009 he worked in an advertising agency .

From 2011 Gugel took singing, dance and acting lessons parallel to his work. After his first experiences in student theater and musical projects, he played the acting role of Count St. Germain in the opera Pique Dame at the Freiburg Theater in 2012 . He had his first musical engagement in the play Lichterloh at the Gloria Theater Bad Säckingen , where he took on the role of Fridolin . After moving to Cologne , he was from 2013 dinner theater productions of the gala dinner GmbH under the direction of Hazy Hartlieb on Germany- tour . At the Gloria Theater, he again appeared in the Disney musical Aida in 2014 .

Gugel continued his private acting training in Cologne . a. with Milad Klein and Kirk Baltz . There he also gained his first experience in front of the camera. a. in the short films Black Fame (2013) and The Butcher (2014). Also in 2014 he was in the movie The loneliness of the killer before the shot by Benno Furmann as victims to be seen.

On German television, he had episode roles in the television series Fate - and Suddenly Everything is Different (2016, 2017), SOKO Cologne (2016, as a transvestite ) and Alles was geht (2017, as a corrupt sports official Christian Landecker).

At the music theater Die Schönen in Freiburg im Breisgau he was seen in the operetta Ball Im Savoy in the double role of René and Tangolita in 2016 and 2017 . In the seasons 2016 to 2018 he was also active as a singer and actor in Europa-Park Rust in show productions. In the summer of 2017 and 2018 ( resumption ) he was on stage as part of the 42nd and 43rd Rathaushofspiele of the Wallgraben Theater Freiburg in the musical theater piece The Black Rider in the role of Robert and the Poacher .

With the play Das Mädchen am Ende der Straße , he was on tour in Germany in 2019 alongside Simone Ritscher , Bernhard Bozian , Rebecca Lara Müller and Sergius Buckmeier in the role of the village police officer Ron Miglioriti .

In 2019 he also appeared in the short film drama We The People and the science fiction short film Peperit 8 .

Gugel also works as a voice actor . He is a member of the Federal Drama Association and lives in Berlin.
