Miha Zarabec (born October 12, 1991 in Novo mesto ) is a Slovenian handball player who plays for the German club THW Kiel .

Career

society

The 1.78 m wide back court player played from 2008 when RK Trimo Trebnje , with whom he in the 2008/09 season at the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and 2011/2012 at the EHF Cup participated. From 2012 he was under contract with RK Maribor Branik , for which he played in the EHF Cup in the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons. In 2014 Zarabec moved to RK Celje , with whom he won the championship and the Slovenian Cup in 2015 and 2016, and with whom he took part in the EHF Champions League in 2014/15 , 2015/16 and 2016/17 .

In April 2017 he signed a one -year contract with the German record champions THW Kiel , which will run from the 2017/18 season and was extended by one year in January 2018. With THW Kiel, he won the DHB Cup and the EHF Cup in 2019 and the German championship in 2020.

National team

Miha Zarabec is part of the Slovenian national team , for which he has scored 156 goals in 64 international matches . With Slovenia he took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , the 2017 World Championships in France , where he won the bronze medal with the team , and the 2018 European Championships in Croatia .
