European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 2008/09

At the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2008/09 44 handball club teams participated, who qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the competition or out of the Champions League 08/09 had been eliminated. It was the 34th edition of the cup winners' competition. The cup games began on September 6, 2008, the second round final took place on May 30, 2009. The defending champion of the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup was the Hungarian club KC Veszprém . The title winner that season was the Spanish club BM Valladolid .

1st qualifying round

14 teams took part that had previously qualified for the competition.
The first legs took place on 6/7/12/13. September 2008. The second legs took place on 7/13/14. September 2008.
