EHF European Women's Cup Winners' Cup 2005/06

At the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2005/06 32 took Handball -Vereinsmannschaften part from 27 countries. They qualified in their home countries in the previous season in the cup competition for the European Cup or came third in the group stage from the Champions League 2005/06 . At the 30th edition of the cup winners' competition, ŽRK Budućnost MONET Podgorica won the cup for the second time since 1985 .

2nd round

Since the European handball federation standardized the round names of all club competitions and the starting field in the cup winners' cup was relatively small, this only began with the games of the second round . The first legs of the 2nd round took place between October 1 and 8, and the second legs between October 2 and 9, 2005.

By a bye RK Lokomotiva Zagreb, Horsens HK, ESBF Besançon and Gjerpen IF attracted Skien directly into the third round.
