European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 1983/84

The 1983/84 European Cup Winners' Cup was the ninth edition of the competition for European handball cup winners . The 20 participating teams qualified in their home countries through the national cup competition for the European Cup organized by the International Handball Federation (IHF) . In the final on March 24, 1984, FC Barcelona prevailed against the Yugoslav representative RK Sloga Doboj with 24:21. Teams from Poland , Romania , the Soviet Union and the GDR participated with a view to the 1984 Summer Olympicsin Los Angeles did not participate in the competition.
